"O My Servant! Obey Me and I shall make thee like unto Myself."

The first is His statement: "O My Servant! Obey Me and I shall make thee like unto Myself. I say 'Be,' and it is, and thou shalt say 'Be,' and it shall be."

Sufferings

"All these sufferings are caused by man himself, it is quite clear therefore that certain sorrows are the result of our own deeds. Other sufferings there are, which come upon the Faithful of God. Consider the great sorrows endured by Christ and by His apostles! Those who suffer most, attain to the greatest perfection."
